A safe and secure neutral disinfectant (surfactant) developed with cosmetic ingredients. "Glycine" is a component found in natural scallops and shrimp, and is commonly used in shampoos and lotions. Thanks to the unique technology of a major domestic cosmetic ingredient manufacturer, glycine with excellent penetration and disinfection power has been successfully developed. It possesses outstanding penetration and disinfection capabilities, making it effective for cleaning dirt, disinfecting, and preventing mold. Glycine is used as a component in disinfectants and sterilizers due to its high disinfection effectiveness, including for surgical instruments and infection prevention. Regarding the novel coronavirus, experts suggest that "surfactants" found in "soap" or "household neutral detergents" can be effective even without alcohol disinfectants. The "novel coronavirus" is very similar to the "SARS virus," both sharing a common "envelope," which is a "lipid membrane." Alcohol destroys this "envelope," eliminating the virus's infectivity, but the National Institute of Infectious Diseases has announced that the same effect has been confirmed for the "SARS virus" using "surfactants." While it has not yet been confirmed through experiments for the current "novel coronavirus," similar effects are expected. (Refer to NHK Asahi's website)
